Default Which wheels to get, VOTE

I am interested in these two wheels. The five spoke one is from Enkei, cast with hollow spokes, F20lb and R22lb, light weight for a cast wheel. The Seven spokes are forged and very very light weight, F18lb and R19lb, manufactured from the same factory of Champion wheels (to be confirm).
For weight the seven spokes will win hands down but I needed diff opinion on looks.

Please comment.

Thanks,

Winsome

I like the look of the 5 spoke ones better, they seem to stand out more. They both look good though.

I vote for the 7 spoke, though both are beautiful! Where can I get those 7 spoke?? The 5 spoke look alot like the 959 wheel without the center cap.

I prefer the look of the 7 spoke. The 5 spoke look as though they will get very damaged if you're unlucky enough to kerb them. Not only will you damage the rim, you'll also damage the spokes.

7-spoke!

Looks much more race to me.

Altough, I would go for BBS RS-GT myself. 2lbs lighter that LM!

Or the Kinesis K58R Reverse

The 7 spokers get my vote. I like the lip offset better. The 5 spokes look a bit clunky and not as pretty as the many other 5 spokers out there (Porsche's Carrera wheels, Fikse's FM-5's, etc.)

Wow! I must say that I am surprise with most of the responses prefering the seven spokes one. I was bias toward the Enkei. For those who are interested check the Japanese web site (link provided). And look for the gallery (since the site is in Japnese character you have find it but easy enough though). Under the Porsche section it has many wheels demo on 993, but it is a known fact that Japanese people are cracy about BBS...

My friends shop has stock on the seven spoke (ST305) and tried to persuate me into it. I tried lifting the st305 and I must say that the weight is indeed very very light and certainly thats the tempting part...then I lifted the BBS RE and there is just no comparison.....but I am still haven't decide between between the Enkei and st305 on the looks though ($ differences is USD600)....so please keep the vote on...

Seven spoke although I do not like the way the centers are empty. I do not like the BBS RS-GT at all...way too busy for my tastes.

What are the prices? Oh, you are in HK so that does not help!

Cheers,

Mike

i have wondered what the Enkei RC5s would look like. now i know. i didn't realize the spokes protruded out so much. both models are very light

i have no clear favorite, but can see either wheel would look much better with polished lug nuts.
