Fortunately, no one mentioned butchering OEM hardback seats with tartan....... I don't believe I could have lived with the shame. Damn, funny post! We obviously have too much time on our hands!

My humble opinion is as long as it was available from the manufacturer and you like it on your car, go for it. What I don't go for is badging your car as something it is not, i.e. split grill or turbo wing on your narrow body, go for it. Putting an 'S' or Turbo badge on your car that is not, heck no.

My most hated:
1) People who say “that poor low mileage car was made to be driven”.
My response: No it was made for profit by Porsche. The guy making the payment can do what he dam@ well wants to with the car. Use it as a coffee table for all I care.
2) People saying “I feel so sorry for the car; it only has xx thousand miles.”
My response: Why don’t you buy it for $20k more than it’s worth, put 150k miles on it then sell it for a loss. Then move on to your next charity case.
3) The non-collector that says they want to buy a 993, but only extremely low mileage.
My reply: Aren’t you the same guy that posted comments 1 and 2 above? What do you think is the source of low mileage cars?

So then your "unpopular opinion" is that "993's should be driven sparingly to keep mileage low"?
I'm not judging BTW but this thread is for you to contribute your unpopular opinion, meaning an opinion that you have and most people disagree with you on, not to vent about other people's opinions/comments.
Example: "as a WB owner, I prefer the looks of a NB". Most other WB owners would disagree with me, thus an unpopular opinion amongst WB owners.
