I'm surprised as well. That car with 33k miles should have sold for a lot more. I don't want to own a red car myself but I certainly don't mind seeing them with other owners. Red is a nice color.

The car referenced is a total unicorn, neither a C4S nor a tt. As 'Able' clearly documented, it has many issues and problems, some significant. Blue interior doesn't appeal to many buyers despite a great exterior color. To generalize re :"The Market" from this car and this sale is not correct.

That’s very low. Wouldn't sell my 993 4s at 37 K miles for that money.
Red wouldn't be my choice for a 993, rather for a Carrera 3.2 G-50.

BaT is likely the most widely known/participated market in the states and should be a true indicator of what a car's value is that day. i agree the price seems a bit low for that particular car, but that does not mean that Grand Prix Motors will make the $22k profit being highlighted by CGs or that they will get anything near $170k.

a friend of time had a GR 993 C4S many years ago and i thought it was stunning. hard to believe that the quintessential porsche color is now low on desirability, but i guess it is.

I live close to Grand Prix. They are a legitimate dealer, have a large inventory of Porsche's, M.B,'s, Rover;s..Let me know if someone is a serious potential buyer and I'll do a site visit if they wish? I'm no mechanic, but know these cars a bit.
I think their asking price is high.
