Mike,

Looks beautiful...

I sent you an e-mail regarding your old cover... it's going on my car today, but thought you could answer a quick question. A pic of your car with the bumper cover off would do it... if you took one during the swap-out that is!

Thanks!

Mike,

Car looks great. Your description of the TT bumper was dead on! Looks like I will leave the clear turn signal lenses in the box until I can do the front properly. Engine looks great as well. I would like to get into the habbit of going over my car every winter in this manner. Talk to you soon.

Oh, I wish I had the money right now to get those fantastic arm rests for long trips... Guess I'll just have to "hang onto the steering wheel" for another year or so while saving up for the $500 pair of armrests! NICE job and great post. Your research into upgrading all that stuff really paid off.

Wow, your car has had quite a bit of surgery this winter! Looks great, Mike.

Todd, Mark, Steve, Mike and others
Thanks for all the kind words and compliments

Jeff:
I don't have a photo handy of my car with the bumper cover off, but go to Robin's site: http://p-car.com/diy/bumper/index.html

Jamie:
Thanks. It does change the look of the car for the better.

Mike,

I was on Robin's site... and everything in the pics looks like my car. I'll send you a pic and a note later... I think your body shop would've had to remove a small riveted aluminum piece on each side to make your old one fit. I know it wouldn't work for me until I removed those pieces. So I've solved the problem, but it took a while.

Mike, Your car looks terrific. I love the looks of the clear front turn signals..............so much......that..........the disco gold of your front emblem has to get updated too..........Just IMHO.........The silver would really finish the look I think you are after!!
I am getting those armrests!

Jeff: Sent you an email re the bumper cover. You do not have to modify the aluminum bumper at all.

Live Free: Thanks. I thought that the silver hood crest might look nice too.

K. Bell: Thanks for you kind comments.

I'd be interested in the armrests as well. How do we organize a group buy?

Tech,

If Dan at Autoplace Porsche will sell to everyone individually at the price listed in my earlier post, a group buy won't save any $$. That price is 10% above his price from Porsche. I will call him to see if he will hold that price.

Evan,

It would be my pleasure. I would suggest you take your honey on an overnight and stay in Skaneateles at the Mirbeau Inn. North end of Skaneateles Lake (Finger Lakes). About 30 minutes from my hangar. Hook her up with my wife and they'll have a ball.

PS: How about the SU Orange yesterday?
