I have to agree with mark, the best part of these drives is just hanging with everyone! If you want to spend all day driving, its better to do it OFF the street. I was at the Chesepeake PCA autocross school last week and it was a blast! Whats better than 8 hours of tossing your car around and having instructors screaming POWER POWER POWER!!!!!! or the infamous DONT LIFT!!!! DONT LIFT!!!!!! HAHA, cant do that on the street. Well, i guess you could...but its not worth it for the risk.
We have an interesting bunch, and despite thinking we talk sooo much on the boards, there is soo much fascinating stuff to discuss in person.

Mark,
Is it too late to ad one more for lunch? My brother wants to ride shotgun with me, he just bought a 951 which we will be picking up in Chicago on the 7th (with a stop at Summit Point on the way home on the 9th and 10th). He says he can bring the title with him. Thanks.

I know Mark. I was just kidding around. I didn't catch the ride through the "twisties" right away. I hope I'll make it for it could be the only fun I'll get with the car for this year. I'll be away from the country in a few months and won't be back 'till it's winter again

WEATHER UPDATE:
In case anyone doesn't have access to a phone, computer or a television, despite today's sogginess, it looks like tomorrow should be perfect for the meet and drive! Weatherunderground.com had the following forecast as of 9:00AM today:
Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.
See you tomorrow!

Ok Silver Spring / WASH.DC / No.VA people - - - We are going to have a meet at 9am at the starbucks at the corner of University Blvd and Rt.29 Colesville rd. (4-corners across from Blair HS) We will caravan to the actual meet from there! Any questions, toss a PM or ask here!
It takes 25 minutes or so to get to the actual meeting place, so dont show up at 9:50am hoping to catch us! Weather looks to be awesome! Can't wait! See everyone tomorrow!

Mark,
Can you add one more for tomorrow? Got a last minute reprieve from my better half and will be putting the "honey do" list on hold for another week.
Look forward to meeting all of you.
