Default Replace slider HVAC controls with this rotary **** kit

Interesting piece of innovation from Carbone Liveries (no affiliation) to replace the slider HVAC controls with something more modern/easy to use.

I could see this being popular if 1. The price came down and 2. Options were given on **** style, e.g. chrome / no chrome.

Maybe someone like Singer would pick it up as part of their builds?

"all part of the charm" as i say to the bride as she expresses her miscellaneous complaints.

Wow, someone spent a lot on R&D to work out a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. Although on second thought I still have to stare at the HVAC controls each time to figure out how they function.

I just start flipping switches, twirling ***** and moving sliders until I stumble across the right settings.

I just keep mine all the way to the right all of the time. Seems to work. And AC is usually max setting most of the time too.

If this was more like $200 or $300 I'd seriously consider it.

Strange, I find the slider controls to be very intuitive. The top slider regulates the flow to the windscreen, the bottom slider regulates the flow to the floor vents. If both are closed (all the way to the left), all of the air flows from the dashboard vents. If the sliders are all the way to the right (fully open), very little air will flow from the dashboard vents. If you want the air to flow more-or-less equally from all of the vents, both sliders should be near the center. The defrost button overrides the slides, so all of the air is directed towards the windscreen.

Thanks. What if one is all the way left and the other all the way right?

I think that those of us who are acting dumb about the HVAC control use are being a bit tongue in cheek. A tutorial isn’t needed honestly - at least for me. But maybe for the other Einsteins here it is......kidding guys.
