Default Anybody use RainX wiper blades?

Wanting to change out my wiper blades, I went on Autozone.com and saw that they recommend RainX wiper blades. Anybody use them?

I then went on Pelican and left confused as to which one to get since they have so many listed.

I just installed PIAA that I got from Tire Rack. They are ok, not great. Fit isn't as precise as I would have liked. But they seem very high quality and the install was straightforward.

Meh, they're ok, but nothing special.

The ones I got from Costco, however, are very nice. I think they are the Micheline brand if I recall, and work great on the family Volvo and wife's E350. These are worth getting both for their low cost and xlnt performance.

I've tried a bunch and really prefer the genuine ones for 2 reasons:

1) They have a dedicated spot for the little rubber bumper (which is a really cool detail)
2) They better follow the curve of the glass

That being said, I haven't tried the rainx brand, so they might be even better!

Over the years I've purchased different brands for our various vehicles... for the most part, they are all the same. Just purchase from a reliable brand and add some actual Rain-X to the windshield monthly.

Funny how most every brand of retail blades are designed to get stiff over time and need to be replaced.
I wonder if one purchased silicone rubber blade inserts on eBay the blades would last the life of the car as silicone rubber doesn't stiffen up over time.
If blades truly lasted the life of the car it would decimate the wiper industry.
Similar to heavy trucks where they use silicone hoses under the hood and are driven a million miles w/o any hose replacements.

I have silblades on my Defender 90. They were used when I got them in 2003 or so and they still work to this day. They don’t work particularly well as wipers and never did (they smear a bit), but they do work well enough. . I hear the new silblades are crap, but PIAA makes some silicone ones that get pretty good reviews.
