Many of you have asked when the next Malibu Fun Run is (I don't know how I got stuck with this! ). Many have mentioned the middle of February so I checked with Phil McGrath to make sure we wouldn't compete with another POC event and came up with February 22.

The plan is to meet in Malibu at the Vons at 7am. Led by Fred through the canyons of Malibu and beyond, we will eventually end up in Santa Barbara where Phil's dealership will have a "special" area where we can park our cars. Hopefully we can arrange food and beverages as well. More details to follow but we need to get a headcount so let me know who is interested.

That would have worked out well for me now that I am moving to central california. I'll be going back and fourth From LA to pismo beach atleast twice a month. I'll be in LA that weekend but i may need to be in Bakersfield on Sunday night. I just may make that drive with you guys and take a long detour to Bakersfield.

I had a great time a few weeks back by taking hwy 150 through Santa Paula, through Ojai and then on out to the coast to SB. Getting from Malibu to Santa Paula via several fun canyons to the 23 through Westlake, on to Moorpark and Fillmore, then down the 126 to Santa Paula across the 150 through Ojai and out to the coast and up to SB. Total trip (TOUR) time I estimate at 2.5 hours. "...a three hour tour..."

Could be really fun, what do you think?

Addison, it is really no mystery to the rest of us why you are suggesting another run - aren't you the one with the new TT? Duh!

Perhaps I can meet you halfway up.... in Ventura? Do you have any idea what time you might be passing through? Maybe with cell phones or family radios, we can make a connection?
