I will write up something more detailed but the gist is
1. File down any burrs/marring with a fine file
2. Use 220 and an orbital sander and remove the anodizing. Hit it again with 400 and an orbital sander to give it a nice brushed aluminum look. In retrospect I should have sent these to the bead blaster to remove the coating. Took forever.
3. Use a block and wet sand with 800, 1000, 1500, 2000. Doesn't take much to flatten the surface and remove the brushed look.
4. Finish it with a buffing wheel and some aluminum polish. Again doesn't take much to make it shiny.

First , thanks again to Andy for putting this gb together , I’ve been on the fence for a while now and his work helped my over the line. Although the shipping and duties/taxes into Japan costed me a small fortune, so far I think it’s work it.. and I’m v happy with the result.

Thanks P daddy .. must admit pics of your car/wheels helped push me down this path as well!!
Evil - I went with :
F: 8.5 x 18, et 46 / 225
R: 11 x 18, et 40 / 285
I reckon the fronts could’ve gone as aggressive as et42 for a deeper dish (per p daddy) but absolutely nothing wrong with how it looks as is at et46. Correct me if I’m wrong, I believe 8.5 et46 uses a 1.5 inch rim and et42 uses a 2 incher.
The rears would be too tight for comfort if I went with 295s so I got 285s (Michelin PS2s). To me , the current fitment has just the right poke
