Default instrument trim rings

Can anyone tell me how to install the aluminum instrument trim rings?

I'm thinking of using a 3M adhesive spray on their inside of the ring. Or is there a good way of doing it?

Cheers,
Boris

I used black rubberised glue also. It works a charm and insures that they fit very well.

Four little dots of a silicon adhesive like Permatex will hold like a champ and allow removal and easy cleanup if ever desired.

Boris, I went to the local office supply store and picked up some poster mounting tape -- it is double sided and can be easily removed without leaving any residue.

I used "Museum Wax" which is easily removable and very sticky. Kind of like soft parrafin. I got it in an Art store, and it is designed to keep your statues stuck down during earthquake tremors, ahh California...

Ditto on the poster putty. Mine have been on for about a year and a half with no problems.

OG - I think the new ones fit over the black ones (no need to remove them).

All the trim rings go on over the top edges of the gauges...

...oops, sorry, never mind.

Old guy,

When you come down to visit, you can see my trim rings. I used double sided tape because I am a mechanical doofus, and knew I'd make a mess with anything else. 10 minute install, even for me. And its a "Euro turbo rear sway bar", not a "torsion bar"... you're gonna really confuse a few folks. And I've been told that I'm already very confused.
