3rd pic is best, very cool. My eyes see silver in many points of the background.

Thanks for the comments :-)
No abandoned fuel sadly.
Light should be replaced when I collect it fro the service next week.
sticker is a magnet, has to go on when the car leaves the UK into Europe.

More from North Wales last week...
EVO Triangle, my favourite of the three roads that make it loop together

Another disused has station

Slow sign is to warn of damaged cattle grid ahead

993 picnic table. A particularly clever option as the heat keeps the coffee warmer longer

Complaints from locals, accidents and deaths have led to these roads being policed more actively recently. Sighting laps and care for cars on the horizon (as you can’t see what they are until it is too late)

Love this view of the 993S

Noise from the Flat six must have frightened off the sheep

Great straight- no ideas how fast I was going when I reached the end as I was too busy looking for police (and sheep)

Sunroofs make 911s perfect

Wide body 911s. Just love the look of them!

More silver car and silver sky drama

I was going to say I thought the EU no longer required those with the integrated plates. But then I remembered Brexit. Was it really that lonely driving around? Looking good.

Yes, with the European registration plates (that include the EU flag and country identifiers) there is no need for a sticker, but thankfully those are optional in the UK, and as a Eurosceptic there is no way my cars will wear them. And in 1997 when my 993 was first registered there was no requirement for such nonsense so it is period correct without

Those North Wales roads are well worth a visit. Of course, the roads in Scotland are better if you want deserted.

Old Military Road, Glenshee

Livestock much bigger in Scotland

Chasing other likeminded individuals

No one else on the road

A reminder of how small aircooled 911s are

Fuel needs more planning in the Highlands. Especially on Sunday

Such great pictures, and it certainly seems like some fantastic driving roads!

Why, may I ask, are these so many closed gas stations?

Each of your pictures with fuel pumps is a diesel. Are you converting?

Thanks for the kind comments.

Had not noticed the diesel. Agricultural too!

No idea why those two had ceased trading – guessing the smaller operators are being forced out of business by giants? Scottish highlands not opening on a Sunday, or limiting the hours is the norm up there. Different way of life. I actually ran out of fuel about an hour after that photo with the 'closed' sign! Guy who came to my rescue put lawnmower fuel in my car and it ran like a dog until I reached the next fill up!
