We don't have the very best "sport" EVs yet. I am worried that Porsche may on purpose make Cayman/Boxster EV not as good so they can keep selling 911s and also Taycans.
I don't think Porsche is holding back. The technology is new and will keep improving and at the moment it is disposable. Look at the 1st gen Taycan. Once the new battery comes out, no one will want the old version.
All cars age and depreciate but the EVs do it much much faster. That's all. EVs are great for leasing. Perfect for that.
