Not quite. All auto leathers have pigmented dying not a plastic layer. conditioning is still necessary for optimal results

 

I just used the Gyeon Leather Cleaner Strong to see what it would do to the spotting in my perforated seats figuring its not going to do any harm. Well I have been pleasantly surprised to find that the spotting has mostly disappeared. Its tough to see in pics but the 1st 2 show the spots on the passenger side more towards the centre console side with the 2 big one spanning the 1st section crease in the seat. The 3rd is the drivers side spotting near the front of the seat.

The next 3 are post cleaner. I applied 2 light cleaning coats and took the pics in the same light with the flash on. Its not perfect but it looks materially better at least to me (and esp in person) and well worth the minimal cost and time. Will put the Leather Coat on tomorrow

Last pic with the conditioner/coating on it. Made a dramatic difference and very happy with the results. Bought the deeper red colour back to the seats and spots/blotches gone
