Too much yellow accents? (992.1 GTS)
Short story (longer story here: https://rennlist.com/forums/general-...2-1-4-gts.html), my dealer has a cancellation on a 992.1 4 GTS arriving in July.
It's quite heavily optioned. For the most part, it's options I would have taken, except for PCCB (but I don't mind paying for it - steel is a pain to maintain on my GT4) and a lot of yellow accents inside. https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRWXDHD5
The seatbelts and stitching is probably fine, but the painted air vents is a bit much I feel. They don't show up on the configurator, but I've found some pictures of a GT3 (https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...che-911-gt3-1/). It kind of work with yellow exterior, but not too sure with with white...
Should I pass? or can the air vents be retrofitted to the stock ones?

The yellow calipers on a white car are fine, PCCBs always get a pass. But the yellow inside doesn’t work, especially the vents.
IMO, I know it’s CAD, but that’s way too much money on a car that’s not configured to how you want it unless it’s being offered at a discount. You’d be doing them a favor, not the other way around.

Looks great, white with black and yellow accents is a classic color combination esp. with the Porsche script. Do it !

Heavily optioned but mucks up the interior with yellow slats. Call me silly but I would never get over it seeing that blasphemy every day. For something logically so minor, it's an eye sore and will effect resale, no matter how many excuses you tell yourself at night to rationalize this purchase.
It'd be a hard pass for me. Not worth buying this spec new. Buy a CPO, manual GTS with a more respectable spec. Might be able to negotiate better with your trade-in and no luxury tax 👍.

There is nothing as too much yellow, if my budget was a bit more, I would have done the same on my GTS, so I kept the Red Steel brakes with the GTS red package.
However, what this car needs more black on the outside, add an after market hood decal in black, it will change the car.

Yellow accents are awesome, I'll swap you my black vents for the yellow ones if that help. I have all the yellow except some of the stitching pieces that are not standard on the deviated pkg. Anyway, I love the combo

Doesn't look as tacky as I thought it would. Actually kinda digging them.

I had PCCB open my GTS and LOVED them . The only concern I would have are your roads in Montreal . Pebbles can be a big deal on PCCB .

Thanks, appreciate all the feedback. The decal would definitely be removed but that's easier (and cheaper) to fix than the vents. I'm leaning towards a "pass" unless the dealer can give me a deal / change the vents.

The exterior looks great to me as is.
But at the end of the day, it's a lot of money if OP isn't going to be very happy with it.
