I think that additional torque from stopped makes the new GTS pretty cool

Same! I have a 21’ PPP that has been totally trouble free, sans the last update. I’m returning to ICE when i turn my lease in soon. It was a fun experiment, but I’m not sold on EV reliability yet. BMW and Porsche are doing some impressive things in regards to battery tech and OS stability.

I kind of would like to have a dipstick. Honda still has it. What's the advantage of not?

My motorcycle has one for the current generation despite not having it on for previous gens. Having a dipstick makes life so much easier and is a simple mechanical thing.

HaHaHa.... Really?? Many advantages of the electronic Oil Level Measurement System.

Yes, when changing oil it's best to have a Bidirectional OBD II device to measure the oil level in real time, yet if you don't, you just need to follow some basic steps. For those who must have the oil level at "full, full, full" (which is not the best), you will need to drive and heat-up the engine , stop and then wait 5 minutes. Not a real problem. And certainly more accurate than a dip stick taking measurements without waiting and letting the oil drain back into the sump/pan.

And, yes a PDK is almost certainy faster shifting than I am. And I can hear every note played perfectly in streamed music with zero effort. But I still have my Les Paul and an Epiphone acoustic and I get ten times the satisfaction when I hit the notes myself. Sometimes working for something you treasure is better than having it handed to you.
Which "modern" Lambos, Ferraris and/or Mclarens offer MT cars that also have a DCT equivalent?

And for what its worth, the C7 Corvette MT do not sell for a premium over the DCT equivalent.

I'd pay ADM for that, so hard. Alas. Porsche is the only game in town.

Facts my friend.

Doesn’t Aston have a manual hypercar? Koenigsegg does too I believe. The GM T.50 also has a manual box.

Koenigsegg have a dual clutch automatic with a very slick fake manual simulation

And seriously, who is cross shopping a 911 and a T-50 or a Valkyrie

Who's cross shopping a Porsche -- any Porsche, 911 or not -- against the likes of bespoke hypercars like the Koenigsegg or a T50?

Go back to the GT4/RS sub-forum.
