With no manual for the GTS I might have to upgrade to a Turbo.

I know the point you were trying to make, and agree with you.

That said, my immediate reaction to your comment about the price of gas 10 years ago was, “I’m pretty sure gas was more expensive 10 years ago even before adjusting for inflation.” I looked it up and it turns out that the average price of a gallon of gas in the US in April of 2014 was $3.66, while today it is $3.61. Both are nominal prices, so gas is actually quite a bit cheaper today in real, inflation adjusted terms. Not relevant to the discussion, just thought it was interesting how the reality is counter to the prevailing wisdom.

Now back to the topic at hand…

The GT car demand is bonkers, and rightfully so.

But the GTS, even 992.1 is totally slept on. It really pushes RIGHT up to the line of street/track car, IMO. Insanely quick, sounds great, handles very well. I can only imagine how good the 992.2 will be.

Aerokit brethren, rejoice – it's confirmed functional! Now tell us how much downforce it makes, cowards!

edit: i see I'm late to this and @Defrag caught it already. Oops. That's what I get for not reading the thread first...
The 992.1 GTS ran the ‘ring with the flappy wing. The aerokit wing is responsible for cutting 5 of the 8 seconds off the lap of the .1

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I just don't get you - no matter what is said you find yet another reason that ring times are (or should be) meaningless...well, I gess you know something the entire Porsche marketing and branding teams missed (not to mention the R&D team) and therefore use it as a lead into the 992.2 in the first offficial press release.

Default How Many North American C4 GTS Were Sold?

Does anyone know the total North American allotment of C4 GTS (or all GTS for that matter) over the past 4 years? I have a 2022 C4 GTS.

Just went to my dealer to put down a deposit to get the first allocation and agreed to a $75k ADM.

Is that fair?

New Michelin tires, I heard something like P5S in a custom 911 edition (which will be the new factory tire)

I just went to the same dealer and offered 100, so better get back there and go for the kill at 150k over.
