I would agree with this in theory.
But in practice, it's not as clear cut. Between tire technology and re-pavement of the Ring, comparisons between historical Ring times are about as relevant as comparing the price of gasoline today to what it was 10 years ago, without accounting for inflation, which is what people do when they talk about Ring times.

That said, my immediate reaction to your comment about the price of gas 10 years ago was, Im pretty sure gas was more expensive 10 years ago even before adjusting for inflation. I looked it up and it turns out that the average price of a gallon of gas in the US in April of 2014 was $3.66, while today it is $3.61. Both are nominal prices, so gas is actually quite a bit cheaper today in real, inflation adjusted terms. Not relevant to the discussion, just thought it was interesting how the reality is counter to the prevailing wisdom.
Now back to the topic at hand

The GT car demand is bonkers, and rightfully so.
But the GTS, even 992.1 is totally slept on. It really pushes RIGHT up to the line of street/track car, IMO. Insanely quick, sounds great, handles very well. I can only imagine how good the 992.2 will be.

One small detail from the press release: "The test car was equipped with standard road tyres, plus the aero kit with a fixed rear wing that has been available as an option for several model generations now, and which provides increased downforce at high speeds."
Aerokit brethren, rejoice it's confirmed functional! Now tell us how much downforce it makes, cowards!
edit: i see I'm late to this and @Defrag caught it already. Oops. That's what I get for not reading the thread first...

Does anyone know the total North American allotment of C4 GTS (or all GTS for that matter) over the past 4 years? I have a 2022 C4 GTS.

Just went to my dealer to put down a deposit to get the first allocation and agreed to a $75k ADM.
Is that fair?
