We don’t know the versioning scheme and what those numbers actually mean. Also, the software that runs the dashboard screen may be different than the software for the PCM.

Please see my previous posts as to why this is a hardware issue (which I believe Porsche could address via software, if they were interested in spending the time and money to fix it).

Any update? Had my 2024 almost a year now and still can’t use the nav right half screen due to this bug…

I asked my Service advisor recently and showed him the bulletin.... Since he didn't know there was an issue...

He checked around and stated that there is still no official remedy, but a new software version is available for my June 2024 "T".

It's not available OTA and no guarantee that it will solve the issue.

Car goes in for its 1-year service in August...I may or may not be the guinea pig for the update since I have turned that screen option off in the PCM and probably wouldn't use it anyway.

Let us know. I have to book a service appointment for my 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera T for cylinder 5 and 6 misfires (only those two ironically) and a creaking sound coming from the behind the stick shift area. I will add this as well, and hope that they can push this software update as well.

Good news. I had my 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera T in for some other service, and I also had them upgrade the PCM software as per (Bulletin #: 2423.1 Part ID: 9025). They did verify that the cursor was hidden by the steering wheel, and then applied the PCM Software update. I can report that it did indeed fix the issue.

I did not lose any settings or any personal configuration. I had to re-login to the PCM with my PORSCHE ID, but all of my settings were there.

So for those who are having the same issue, during your next PORSCHE service center visit, indicate that you are having the issue with the "Instrument Cluster Navigation Arrow Off Center" and that they should follow the bulletin noted above for correction action. I also took a copy of the bulletin with me as well and handed it to them.

Of course. Software, it’s always the software.

Thanks for the confirmation...I'm due for service #1 in July, so I'll get it done.

Thanks for posting the bulletin.

Just got my car back from 1yr service and before it went it was picked up, I made sure they knew about the bulletin and sent it their way just in case they were unaware.

All taken care of now:

Not necessarily. Software fixes can be used to compensate or adjust for hardware issues. The updated PCM software probably accounts for the specific hardware that has this issue.
