I'm pretty sure Porsche does not do OTA (over the air) updates, except for navigation data.

I believe they perform service bulletin updates when the car is in for service. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong).

Most likely you will have to take it in.

If I’m not mistaken, my MY 2022 PCM6 was updated OTA from the black and white icon version to the version with colored icons.

Just a thought, and apologies if already mentioned. My 24 GTS is off center to left with no active navigation. When route guidance is active, it is off center to the right, and this allows the screen to display sign guidance in the left half of the screen (e.g., exit sign approach, take far right lane image).

Ideally it would be centered, but I can see why its off center left for general view (so you can actually see), and off center right with route guidance as the signs/turn info are more information than a zoomed out map.

Same issue here. 2024 model built in May and just delivered. OTA map update today didn’t fix.

Same issue here. Build date 5/24 - C2S.

Come on Porsche! We know you are behind in software development but this is pretty stupid regardless.

Just received an OTA update and hoping this would resolve the issue. No luck. Curious if others have the same experience, or if I need to restart the PCM, etc.

I think that OTA was the same one that came in on Wednesday. It was three updates actually. I posted details here.

Your OTA, was that the same one I posted? I'm curious if yours is a newer one than the ones that came in on Wednesday and do you have screen shots showing what the OTA was for specifically (see my post above).

Received an email from my service advisor at Porsche Beverly Hills last week:
Dear [JNKZW],

Porsche just sent out an email that they’re aware of the issue and have no fix at this time . Just wanted to inform you that they are now making the announcement and should be working on something soon!

Best,

[Service Advisor]
This is mirroring what has been said earlier in this thread, but it's a bit annoying that Porsche still has not addressed this issue so many months after my delivery. Still, they at least are aware and advising service departments rather than the piecemeal information we've been getting from individual dealerships leaning into any relationship with Porsche North America or Porsche AG.

I can go to the dealer and ask again. have all the OTA updates done (I have a bunch) but the issue is still there.

Super annoying, makes the map useless. Also annoying is that it jumps to the map display on any navigation event.

this is what mine looks like. (build date May 2024)
I have not tried with the GPS guidance mode yet.

My 2018 Carrera T did this, it would show my car location way way off course, sometimes miles off....They said back then it was an antenna issue, I never had them fix it as I rarely used it.
