Anyone take note if the new 2024 992’s are wearing the updated PORSCHE crest on the front bonnet?
Easy ways to spot the updated crest include:
1. smooth surface in the bronze areas
2. honeycomb texture in the red areas
3. Stuttgart printed in black

For the 992 it is allegedly not coming until the dot two. The new Panamera will be the first model to receive it.

The horse looks so much nicer, and it proudly states Stuttgart-makes my 2023 look like a piece of crap.
Finally a legitimate reason to get the 992.2!

This is certainly a very easy swap for anyone interested in doing so, but obviously it would require us learning the part number for the new crest. I do not think that is going to happen until we score a VIN to the latest Panamera.

I like the texture on the red portions better in the old. Looks more like leather vs the fake honeycomb-ish pattern on the new. Otherwise I like every other bit of the new one more. Not enough to care to swap but I think its a nice little refresh. Having no texture behind the PORSCHE lettering looks great.

Really like the new one. Well thought out, and the honeycomb adds a modern “techie” touch.
Wouldn’t swap though.
Most people can’t tell generations of 911s apart, forget about he badge!
