You can easily read Stuttgart on the actual current (old) badges found on the hoods and steering wheels of current cars as they are very well-embossed, but for some reason the pic above (comparing old vs new) has the Stuttgart faded out on the old badges, which isn’t really the case in person. It almost looks like they photoshopped the Stuttgart on the old badge in that pic to make it less readable just to highlight how the new badge improves upon this aspect. New badge makes Stuttgart more legible due to it being in black print, but the reality is that the old embossed Stuttgart not in black print is just as easy to read IMO, at least from what I’ve seen on neighbor’s 992 as well as on my own ‘23 Taycan.

Overall, I do prefer the new badge’s cleaner and more modern design.

If you’re going to swap to the new hood badge, you’ll need to swap the steering wheel badge to the new design as well, especially since that’s the one you’ll actually be looking at more
