With close to a full 23.7-gallon fuel tank (maybe 1 gallon short of full), my 992.1T weighs in at 3302 lbs with this spec. Bucket seats, non-LED headlights, and the smaller fuel tanks are probably the only options to make it even lighter from the factory.

Not as focused as McLaren but I appreciate Porsche keeping cars pretty lightweight still!

Interesting. I went from a 991.2T to a 992.1 GTS. I couldn't be happier. The sound above 6K is felt in the chest. Overall for regular driving it's not as loud but with the sport exhaust turned on, it has a really nice note. Once you hit that 6-6.5K mark, it's crazy. Power delivery is much more linear than I expected. I guess too much time on rennlist.

Nice! And do 992 still cracks & pops non stop in sport mode like 991.2 does?

If all your comments so far are based on Normal mode, use it in Sport mode for a week and come back to report. Normal mode should be called Econo mode and it's what they do to meet regs. I don't believe Porsche intended for Normal mode to be "normal" mode in any of their line up. My Macan is the same. Worse actually. Just dreadful in Normal mode. Perfect in Sport.

I drive in Normal mode for about 3 minutes when I first start the car and that's it, and that's only so it doesn't autoblip too high.

It's a Sports car, drive it in Sport mode!

I have individual mode set to sport+ and that’s pretty much 100% of the time for me. I like the boost response tuning in sport+ the most.

I was aware enough to stop to take this photo.

During this morning’s fun drive, I could not resist taking this silly photo. The 911T is very enjoyable across a broad range of conditions!

Agreed. First drive I took I had it in Normal for about 1/4 mile-never have since, either Sport or Sport+

Me too. I had been Cayman guy since 2015. I took delivery a 992 series 911 Carrera T in January.
I loved my 718 Cayman S, but the T is on another level.
