I have a 981 GT4 and a new 2023 Civic Type R as a daily.
Both are excellent cars.
The Civic punches WAY above its weight.
Of course, it's not the greatest driver's car of all time, but it's certainly the best hot hatch by a country mile. Maybe 1000 country miles. Maybe the best ever.
If you get a chance to drive one, do it.

I have had four RS and two of them made ECOTY over the years.. .In all honesty I would not have given the 992RS car of the year, even though I have one. It is a very specialized car and less versatile than the earlier versions due to constrained luggage capacity. Of course, great on track like all of them, but I would have thought that the T was a more representative model to award.
