Growing like a fungus - it straight up looks like ***. Turns the 911 into a "butterface" of a car.
I am surprised anyone would think it looks good in any way. I must be getting old.
hahah... I'm trying to be optimistic but I also just barely picked up my 992.1 so I won't be THAT sad if it doesn't grow on people. That said, no matter how bad it seems at first these things tend to fade away once our eyes get used to it. Hell even the 996 design eventually found its defenders.
Just for clarity to the folks who arent familiar, Galpin is a long standing mega dealer chain in LA area....
...one of which is a Porsche store. So they will be providing cars at a dealer level, which means no new car introductions. Bummer.
Back to these most recent photos...is nobody noticing the giant fixed rear wing?? This is most likely a 'Aerokit' option package car; traditionally ugly, IMO. Or possibly an entire new model. I would not jump to conclusions about the standard 992.2 just yet.
It seems there are some photos with the active areo vertical slats covered with horizontal bars and some without, which really alters the overall appearance. Not sure why that is but the mules seem to reflect this. I would think it’s likely there are two bumper options as well, which would be in addition to this. Wish we could nail down some type of official reveal.

I believe the Horizontal bars were just camo to hid the Vertical slats, but not a 100% sure. Probably a better look with the horizontal bars IMO.
Good thoughts. I like it either way but would opt for the bumper with the horizontal ala .1 with active vertical but the areo kit isn’t for me; seems hard to acquire regardless.
The horizontal bars might actually be the production bumper. It looks finished whereas it doesn't with them missing.
Don't think so. That front end is covered in camo. You can see the styled inward facing ducting towards the center behind the camo horizontal bars. The more recent photos appear production-ready (albeit clearly not a base model car with that rear wing).
