Just received allocation for my first Porsche Carrera T delivery around January 2024. But am I crazy with this minimal build option?
Help me build. Any recommendation would be much appreciated.

Like everyone, I will tell you my preference and experience from my C2GTS I took delivery on in July 23- 1,600 miles into it.
I disagree with one responder:
No rear steer. Keep FAL
I would also get the steering wheel in leather not race-tex- does not wear well
otherwise I like the courage of the racing yellow- I got Carmine.
good luck.

RAS is unnecessary. I have FAL and like it, but a friend also has a 992 and lives in the same area without it and thinks it is just fine.
I do have full leather interior, it is quite nice.
I would get extended range gas tank, prep for roof rack, and interior storage - all low dollar additions you can't do later.
And man, a sunroof is nice.....

Nice T build! I don't think FAL is necessary unless you have a very steep driveway entrance. I suggest adding PDLS+ as the swiveling lights aid night time driving. Bose is also a must as the base system is not very good for anything but talk radio.
One costly option I would consider adding is full leather. That rubber dash is an eyesore.

Congrats on the allocation.
I think your build is completely fine, as long as you know the reasons you are opting for certain things.
Like the fire extinguisher. Are you getting it because you actually think you'll need to put a fire one day and that little tube will actually be effective? Or do you just think it looks cool? If that latter, then definitely get it. If the former, it's just more dead weight cuz I wouldn't want to put out a car fire (for one) and and if I did I wouldn't to just use that fire extinguisher to do it.
FAL. No reason not to get it as long you think the driveways that you use for ingress/egress are such that having it will make your car more user-friendly. Don't listen to any of us about it, because we don't drive your driveways and we don't drive the way you do.
TL;DR you're build is fine as long you have legit reasons for building it the way it is.
Congrats again.

Congratulations! And, double congratulations on picking the MT.
I echo the Bose if you listen to any music at all.
I have FAL which is pretty convenient especially with GPS activation but certainly don't think it's mandatory.
I use the surround view ALL the time especially when parking in tighter city parking ramps.

One voice... but
RAS, Bose, ventilated seats, MT, folding mirrors
I was torn on FAL, dealer said skip it... only a GT3 necessity - reliability issues, weight, 3k ... I have a GTS with SPASM and I don't need it. Likely you won't

Congratulations - you must be super excited!
For me, I don't think FAL and LCA when I think "minimal." Also, if minimal is the goal, might look into an Element extinguisher instead of the can.
Personally, I'd throw out the "minimal" mindset and just order what you like, and if this is what you like, you win!
Regardless, enjoy!!!

In counter to tna3, I'll tell you what I don't have that I think about often and will be optioning on my next one:
1. Bose or Burmester. The base system is so underpowered and even listening to podcasts and audiobooks is incredibly impaired as the speakers just can't push out balanced vocal tones at any volume.
2. Full leather. The leather dashboard and upper doors look appreciably better than the plastic.
3. FAL. Nice to have not must have unless you deal with steep driveways. Family we frequently visit have a steep curb and I have to think about it every single time. I live in Southern California, where roads are often questionable and while I hear a lot of scraping I've yet to do any real damage.
4. Leather vs. race tex steering wheel. As someone else said, I have the race tex and it is aging questionably. Looks cool, but would probably avoid in the future if it is a daily driver as mine is.
