Yes, I am aware.

I personally do not see the point in blindspot detection (LCA) on a sports car. Proper adjusted mirrors defeat the need for LCA. Just my 0.02.

If you want speed limit notifications posted on your dash board you have to have it,
I have ticked the box but will keep the lane keep assist always turned off, just use the speed limit indicator as we have a plethora of speed limits over here in the UK and it is sometimes difficult to know what the limit is ? Councils are bad with their signage which in any case is often obscured by vegetation.
I am unaware if the speed info is included with LCA in the U.S. Can a U.S. owner confirm?

Let me just add this. In my 63 years, the only regrets I have are the options I didn't buy. It is more often the case that I look back and say that, "I should have added ________ for the few $_____ it cost. This applies to cars, airplanes, boats etc.......

Certainly the line needs to be drawn somewhere, but any option you are agonizing over should in my opinion fall into the "yes" camp.

There’s no right or wrong way to spec the car. Except if you have red accents with yellow! Surround view may be ‘glitchy’ in recent builds as noted by several owners including myself. I like thinking of someone down the road seeing smokers package on the sticker and passing on the car.

Sad to report that I recently removed the ‘smoking pkg’ for this exact reason and literally just prior to my build freezing.

I hate all ADAS systems.

Porsche, or otherwise.

You'll get over the sticker shock pretty quickly, but you won't get over not choosing that extra option you really wanted but didn't select because you were too preoccupied with the total price..

I never fold the mirrors coming into the garage since the rear hips are just about as wide as the car with the mirrors out. That said, they came with the Premium Package and I like having them as they confirm the car is locked.

Well said! Or because someone told you that the original T didn’t have FAL.

Per Porsche:
- Width w/ mirrors folded 72.9 in
- Width 79.7 in

My small garage opening is exactly 80", not including the 1" weather strips on both sides (so makes it 78"). Had to select folding mirrors to make sure it fits. I probably would've selected regardless because I also like seeing them fold to confirm it's locked

I would say full leather is important.

It was your reference to long highway drives that made me think you were referring to LKA.
LCA can come in handy on multi-lane surface streets. But no, it's not needed. No options are "needed" IMO.

I tried to stay within your original pricing since I don't know your budget but this is what I would do for about the same money:

On a T I do not feel that is necessarily true.
