I didn’t go through each and every item on yours but the obvious ones are removing decal and satin black wheels for added speed and agility. The metallic aventurine green color is missing which compared to the base white could improve wind resistance for added speed. The last point I’m doubting how much it will help for added speed - might be negligible.

Thanks
🙄

Yep, you're a troll.

I have a 21 Targa 4S and don’t even have any squeaks or rattles. I did have a recall and the dealer had to replace the engine sticker lol. I have had a couple times where the car sat for too long and I wasn’t plugged in so got some errors due to low voltage. But there wasn’t actually anything wrong. I should have just remembered to keep the car on the tender or drive more frequently. This will be more important after my M2 arrives and becomes my daily driver.

You just can't make this stuff up. Cheers!
Huh? I don’t get your response. You asked a specific question to which I answered. Why are you attacking me? I answered based on the knowledge I gained from researching this car

At $200k I could spec a really nice GTS and keep a lot of change.

I could too. But no allocation available.

Did the OP say that resale was a priority? He might’ve but I missed it.

To be fair, not everyone cares about resale value. I don’t at all, not when choosing my build specs. I build what I want. Didn’t on my first 911 and I had some regrets about my penny-pinching. So I learned.

On my incoming Cayenne S build, even my sales guy was trying to talk me down on the options, which I found pretty funny. He was warning me that I’d get beat up on the near-instant depreciation on all the options. I do appreciate his looking out for me, no pun intended. But I don’t GAF. It’s not an investment. Once I hand over the money, I consider it 100% gone. Any resale value at all is a bonus.

That said, leather-bound user manual seems a bit frivolous. But I got stupid custom keys with the Cayenne and a GT3 coming in. So who am I to judge someone else’s frivolous options.

Yes. See post #11 and #16.

I agree with you and don't ever think one should spec any car based on resale. I also don't believe in must have options for resale, but those are topics for another thread.

You asked if you should cancel your order. I answered.

Buying a car is always risky, no matter the brand. If you look at consumers reports or jd power, Porsche isn’t the most reliable brand (or the least). If reliability concerns give you stress, get whatever car has the best reliability ratings.

And why ask on an Internet forum? How would we know? The vast majority of owners don’t participate in Internet forums. We have no idea what the reliability will be, it’s all anecdotal evidence which is skewed heavily forwards the reporting of issues (people tend not to post so much about how reliable their cars are).

J.D. Power has stated repeatedly that QC is down amongst all manufactures since Covid.

Useless options IMHO:

Power Steering Plus: Not needed

Backrest Shells in Leather: If it's not a Cabriolet, what's the point, no one will be able to see them.

Carbon Fiber Floor Mats: A waste of money. Your feet will never know.

Owner's Manual in Leather: But why?

Burmester Audio: These cars are noisy, even the Bose can seem like overkill

Why does anyone spend $200K on a T?

everyone is missing the point of original thread. Anyway no allocation for anything else avail. And dealer said $25K extra has to be paid to get this allocation. So came out to around $200k, little more.

So, genuinely like to know, how did you get the only North American Spec "T" in PTS?

EDIT - nevermind.

Build is not locked yet. Hopefully the PTS doesn’t get rejected which it sounds like it might based on your comment?
