I am in PA. I didn't check every single box. Only the ones that will be best for resale down the line. And that will allow me to enjoy the car the best and drive fast.

Except that you picked a bunch of options that will hurt resale.

Please stop trolling.

I think you are trolling by not helping me get answers to my original questions and concerns. I ordered this spec - do I need to be concerned and worried about quality issues??

When I was younger, I’d tick all the boxes too, just to see.

IMO the quality of my car overall has been excellent...the only item (which is currently very infrequent) is the large PCM screen will go blank for a second or two

But I was curious....for a 200K T what did your dealer require for a deposit to accept that order?

That's quite the T build. A PDK T no less.

I always wondered who would actually order the "owner's manual in leather" option.

But, yes, there can be QC issues with the 992 and to expect a 100% chance of a perfect car just because you're spending $200k is unrealistic. No machine build by humans and designed by humans will have a 0% failure rate. But, is there a probably 99% chance the car will be free of major issues? Yep.

The frequency of issues seen on a forum are most likely due to selection bias. Those with no issues don't constantly post: "Yep, just had another week of flawless performance from my 911."

Thanks for the well written and thought out answer. Alleviates some of the concerns.

We should start a thread with weekly check-ins.

To note, my car forgot bass and treble setting this morning after going 3 weeks with no issues.

That's the craziest T build I've ever seen, I'm assuming this is satire.

Would you mind posting your build code? I’d love to see it in the configurator. What exterior color did you go with?

Guess you haven't seen the build quality issues with $300K McLarens and $500K Ferraris. Over half of those options will hurt resale on a T, not help it.

My recent delivery came missing the drain line for the AC. Water was pooling behind the passenger seat. Dealer fixed it but took like 2 weeks most of which was waiting on part to arrive. Wasn't confidence inspiring tbh and certainly a let down after spending 180k and waiting a year and a half. Otherwise it's been fine though.
