IMO the quality of my car overall has been excellent...the only item (which is currently very infrequent) is the large PCM screen will go blank for a second or two
But I was curious....for a 200K T what did your dealer require for a deposit to accept that order?

That's quite the T build. A PDK T no less.
I always wondered who would actually order the "owner's manual in leather" option.
But, yes, there can be QC issues with the 992 and to expect a 100% chance of a perfect car just because you're spending $200k is unrealistic. No machine build by humans and designed by humans will have a 0% failure rate. But, is there a probably 99% chance the car will be free of major issues? Yep.
The frequency of issues seen on a forum are most likely due to selection bias. Those with no issues don't constantly post: "Yep, just had another week of flawless performance from my 911."

My recent delivery came missing the drain line for the AC. Water was pooling behind the passenger seat. Dealer fixed it but took like 2 weeks most of which was waiting on part to arrive. Wasn't confidence inspiring tbh and certainly a let down after spending 180k and waiting a year and a half. Otherwise it's been fine though.
