thinking of changing my car.
i dont think there is going to be a difference on trade with aerokit installed.

Most dealers will take a look at mods and offer you less since they now have to find a buyer who is okay with the mods. I would take it off and sell the car stock and sell the Aerokit separately.

Taking the aero kit off and installing an active spoiler/different brake light is going to be prohibitively expensive not to mention a waste of time and effort. There's a reason the aero kit sells out it's because people LIKE it. I'd never take the route you suggest.

I think you'll get the most money by selling the Aerokit separately.

Noy sure about that - Aerokits are desired options often not available - I think it helps selling the car and probably at a little more.

Sell the car with Kit

Why bother wasting your time taking off.

You will get it at sale anyway

He will not get more money with the kit to a dealer. Take it off and sell separately. You'll 100% get more money this way if you're not paying through the nose to take it off and switching back to oem.

My dealer is giving me extra on trade to leave the aerokit on. He gave me the option to remove but said he is happy to add value since it’s a Porsche part.

I think you need to get an offer form the dealer with and without and then decide your best path.

If it was a factory install then obviously keep it on. Otherwise, yes you will make more money selling it separately.

Question is whether it's worth the pain in the ***. Only you can answer that one.

Many folks don’t like the boy racer look and wouldn’t buy a car with it. Pretending to be a GT car is tacky to many.

More people do. Many people don't like a certain color either. These are the comments I really like here...
