My T has very few options but the big one I went for was the leather and no regrets. I do regret the base stereo!!! Really disappointed BOSE was not available

I have no issue with the leather but posts about worrying what it will look like in 40 years is a bizarre!

I wouldn’t get a car without it. Looks cheap with the standard dash. 70% windshield tint blocks all the UV so no worries about damage. Just keep up with usual maintenance.

Isn't the whole idea of a T is that it be minimalist? There should be no options other than performance related options, if that is the case.

I had the standard interior on my '20 S and I didn't think it was all that bad. And, while I did briefly entertain going with the standard interior on my T, I opted for the leather interior, and have no regrets.

I have the standard interior. Viewed in a vacuum on it's own I have no issues with it. My car however is more performance oriented and somewhat of a stripper S. I go back and forth on ordering. On one hand, it is much nicer, but on the other hand I have tons of rattles and luxury is not what I was going for on my build. I think in the end you need to build the car for you and stick to a theme. Are you going for a stripper, minimal options and only performance? then skip the leather. Comfy seats, premium package etc. go with the Leather. All that matters (to me at least) is that the car has a consistent purpose throughout. It's easy with a 911 to get your spec way out of whack and end up with some frankenstein grand touring/race prep vehicle that lacks purpose.

I went with exclusive mfktr interior due to no PTS and am impressed. The extended leather and stitching make the car feel ultra premium.

Standard interior makes sense on a stripper T. Any other car, full leather is a must.

BTW, I have a stripper T and opted to add full leather.

Agree .

I have full leather on my heavily-optioned C2 but the ethos of the T is purity and performance and saying it has to have a full leather interior, on a car whose main bragging point is light weight simplicity, is a head scratcher to me. If it's a turbo S, sure. I had the base interior in my GT4 and I really liked the non-leather dash, it looked and felt great and just as importantly it fit the mission of the car. Spec'ing $15k+ in options on the 992 T to me defeats it's purpose. Now if you like and prioritize a leather interior, go for it, but to say you have to spec it is wrong.

Have you seen most T builds? I wish variants came with predefined options, especially for models like the T. You couldn't option rear seats or sunroof on a 3.2 Club Sport, which is the predecessor to the T. But I guess Porsche wants to sell more cars...

The standard interior is great for a $60,000 car problem is the car costs 120.

Keep it simple on a T. That's the whole crux of the model.

There is a fundamental misconception that a 911 is a luxury car and that it should be spec'd in base trim like what you would expect on a luxury car that costs the same.

I ordered leather on my five figure Bronco. So definitely ordered on my six figure Porsche. I spend alot of time in my vehicle, so why not enjoy the rich feel of leather.

I wanted to do exactly this since PTS wasn't available. And, unfortunately EM 2-tone interiors were also not available.
