You’re the best. I’ll get a couple sets ordered up Monday. Thanks.

Are the seat bolts in a MY22 992 the E12 Torx, M9 Triple Square or the M10 Triple Square? Everything I’ve found suggests the seat bolts changed for MY23-up.

The '22 Turbo S I just did seats in still has the E12 Torx bolts, but were replaced with Recaro bolts, so...I'll check our '24 T and see what they changed to.

Thank you! Would you have a link to the RECARO bolts?

I'm sorry I don't as they came with the new seat rails we got for the seats. Which one's do you need? The E12 bolts you just get from the dealer or similar (9A700748300), or just source some Grade 8.8+ Allen head socket cap bolts from the hardware store in the same thread pitch, M10x28mm, should be 1.5 thread pitch.

Thank you for that. It was very helpful.

So after some back and forth the dealer has determined that bucket equipped cars do indeed have different carpet than sport seats. The carpet is a $1500 item with dealer labor quote of 1500 as well. No ETA on the carpet and none used online that I could find. I’ll probably end up tackling the job myself but I did get it ordered. Other than that loving having the buckets in the car.

Big shoutout to @f4bones for hooking me up with the blank panel where the seat heater buttons are.

Good info! Would you happen to know the part number for the blank piece? I’ll need one as well.

Were you able to verify if the 991 rail covers work on the 992 LWB’s?

….and definitely a shoutout to @f4bones . He’s going to code my car for the AeroKit Monday afternoon and again once my LWB’s arrive.

Part is 992864040A but not sure how to select options for no sunroof and no heat or vent. I did not try the rail covers as I wanted to stay OE.

Thanks for the part number. Aren’t the rail covers you were considering OEM parts?

Happy for you man. The things we do for/to these cars.

As a tangent I was able to test drive a GT3 with buckets today and definitely getting them. They were on my bucket list.

Absolutely worth it for the way they change the driving experience.

It’s hard to explain but the buckets feel as though the car is an extension of me and we are connected. The sofas are a little bit disconnected from the car. I also did a whole day out in the car last weekend and I felt great at the end of the day. No pain and not fatigued.

I mean to say that bucket equipped cars don’t come equipped with rail covers.
