I was hoping reading through this thread would help me make a decision although I still have some time before freeze date between the Targa bars. Both look great and I like them both equally. I somewhat like the stealthier look of the black targa bar but the silver has a classy look that is hard to pass on. Picking options is harder than finding allocations w/o ADM 😂

I think the silver bar is best unless it's clearly out of place. In my 22 Targa 4, I chose Dolomite Silver. It clashed noticeably with the GT silver bar, so I went with black. That was a good choice. But with any other color, the classic bar works best.
I did the same with my wheels. I bought a spare set of gloss black GTS wheels and machined the edges. The turbo wheels are wider and I was told by suncoast they would not fit.
I think the choice between silver and black Targa bars depends a little on the rim color but both are equally beautiful. I made a small modification by replacing the silver Targa logo with a matte black one from the GTS, as the original silver logo was blending in too much. Now, the Targa lettering really pops, much like it does on the 991 Targa. A pair was $140 usd.
