All Targas are beautiful, including this one. However, I wonder what happened to the great colors that used to be associated with this iconic car. Look back at the Targa history and you will see many wonderful and sometimes crazy colors on this car. We seem to be in a world stuck on black on gray on black with chalk stitching. Here is one that tries to break the current boring mold:

To tint or not to tint, that is the question. I'm receiving my Targa in a couple of months - my dealer has offered to tint the rear/side windows for free but I can't make up my mind. If you have a Targa in black with silver Targa bar, can you post photos along with the % of your tint? I'd like to hear your reasons for tinting/not tinting... thanks!

Aesthetics, privacy, and heat reduction depending on the % you choose.
On my Cabriolet (in shop now) and our Targa due early February we are going light 55% on sides and rear and 70% windshield. This gives a light tint look, with good heat reduction.

I am in the same boat. Wondering if a 35% tint for sides and rear will change the look of my white Targa with silver bar. What do you guys think?

I actually didn't want to tint because if done too dark I think it ruins some of the point of the targa.... but I ended up doing 45% and am super happy with it. Looks slightly darker in these pics than it does in real life. Interior is still quite visible from the outside.
