Default Do 992 C2S come with black calipers too?

Hi,

I was once a proud owner of 991 c2, had to sell due to family issues and now actively searching for 992 models,

i came across a 992 c2s but i have not seen a black/grey caliper on c2s before, so wanted to ask your opinions,

sometimes i don't trust these used cars that are not CPO, i have seen ppl modify their cars to look c2s,,,,

this particular car looks clean but only yellow-flag(?) for me is the calliper colors,,,

thank you

Black calipers were (are?) a factory option. I could see that on this wheel/car color combo, looking better than red.

I believe if you build and order you can change them to black for extra cost. Which is great considering red doesn’t go with all exterior colors.

My C2S is optioned with black calipers. I think orange and red would clash.

A 2020 C2S for $175k? Is that what they still go for? It looks pretty well optioned though.

I opted mine with black calipers - here is a pic... With JBM color and clear taillights, etc, I did not want Red calipers on mine. I also do not like Yellow, so I would opt for a different color regardless of break choice...

Go to the Porsche configurator and check out the black calipers option.

I also forked over the $ for black calipers. Glad I did but they sure know how to spend our money.

$800 to remove the red and get black is an easy choice, unless you are getting a guards red car of course. And I agree with @Keadog they really know how to get us.

I think there are some other colors that work ok as well. My first (and our second) choice was Gentian due to how grey AG looks to my eyes. In that build I left the calipers red. But it wasn't a good fit with AG/Truffle/Paldao. I looked into getting them painted aftermarket and it ended worth it to us to pay for OEM.

You guys got a bargain. My black calipers were a $900 option. Dumbest $900 I ever spent, but I had to do it.
