Finally got my 992 Cab and have spent every day with the roof down as we are into convertible season here in South Florida.

The roof is great and fast but it’s annoying to have to press and hold the button every time I start or stop the car. Ideally I’d be able to buy a European key fob and just have some kid with a laptop reactivate the remote operation but it’s seems Smart Top might be the one touch solution I’m looking for. Has anyone tried it in their 992? Any trusted installers in Miami area also appreciated

The SmartTOP was one of the first mods on my Cab. Even had one purchased long before I took delivery of the car. Had one on my 991 Cab as well. They work great.

They don’t require any great skill to install other than to follow their instructions.

Easy to do it yourself. I'm putting mine in the market as I no longer have my 992, but agree with above. Great mod for cab and targa

I put one in on my 991. Not hard to install, but was a tricky spot to get to. Overall a good mod.

Installed one this weekend. Took me about 30 mins to get it all in place and back together. Great addition to the car.

It is well worth it. I'm not one to modify cars much but I can recommend the SmartTop

Definitely a must. One touch up and down is a game changer alone. Then add remote functionality. No brainer.
