Got the paddles yesterday like most, and they do seem high-quality. Didn’t realize that it came with a second set of paddles they were hiding under the foam block.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone’s install and use experiences, I think I may wait for the GT3RS style paddles as I don’t want to take the wheel off twice.

Thanks @mattchow for organizing this.
Looking at the assembly picture it looks like you may be able to swap the paddles with an Allen key while the wheel is on. I could be wrong. Anyone with the paddles installed know the answer to that?

Swapping paddles with wheel on seems to be confirmed. Next, remember not to long ago, you could FED ex overnight a letter to your neighbors house and it would still go to the Memphis TN hub and back. The shipping oddities are not really that odd.

This is on a 991 wheel, but you can definitely change it after the wheel is reinstalled.

Great because it looks like something you may adjust a few times to find that perfect placement as well.

Install completed -- pretty straightforward process, but now have a pesky CEL that won't go away despite two reset attempts (disconnect/reconnect negative terminal). Anyone have a similar issue?

Transformed shifters though and are now more tactile with a pronounced clicking sound.

pull the green connector straight out. It may come all the way out, but that's alright. It'll cIip back in. Then to get the yellow connector out push down from the top like you're trying to lower it. If that doesn't work you gotta pull out from both sides. DO NOT take the steering wheel off without undoing them or your clock spring will eject the ribbons.

fairly certain they all shipped from CA then out to everyone. I can create a label that originates from anywhere I want, but will update to the actual hub the package is received at.

Couple of tips for install:

I found it easier to use an allen wrench to remove the airbag

My window auto up/down and adjustment when enter/exit was not functioning after disconnecting the battery. Roll window all the way up and then hold the up button for a few sec. To reset. Check before slamming the door, or the window will bounce around in there and make some noises you don’t want to hear

Glad to hear everything worked out. How is it? Magnetic magic?

Just installed mine as well they are great. The tips here helped so the install only took 20 minutes and that included cleaning the dash etc since it was easier with the wheel off.

Got mine today, still mustering some courage to install after reading about spring ribbons error lights and hard clips lol but probably just me being overly paranoid for what shouldn’t be too hard of an install
