I am wondering for a slate gray and chalk interior, if paldao wood inlay is going be a good choice (like the rendered image below). Wood seems to be a traditional décor while chalk interior to me is more contemporary. I would very appreciate if someone can post real-world photos with this combination!
This was actually something i considered when I was ordering my build. Ultimately went with the standard trim as I like how it matches the switchgear. Would like to see this as well.

Is it me or does this combination give a strong "bleached coral and dead trees" vibe? I've seen chalk interiors plenty of times, but seeing it with the wood trim just makes me think of dead things, like if the petrified forest was located inside white sands. Personally I think there are better trims to match Chalk, or better colors to match Paldao. Chalk/Paldao dont inherently clash from a color palette POV but from a big picture POV, color palette is just one aspect of a build, another is the "vibe" or "message" your build sends others when they see it, although if you don't care about that then from a color palette POV only it seems okay. Although I do still think there is a better "match" for both chalk and paldao.
I must clarify this is my personal opinion and nothing more!
I have slate with Paldao. Besides the fact the wood softens the interior up a bit, you also get the more interesting look of the aluminum trim for center console and doors. Ill try to post a pic later. I get lot of compliments on the interior because Paldao doesn't get specd to often.
More people here should share their interior pics. I think it will work very well. Classical German combo (Benz, Audi, BMW) would work especially nice with a blue-ish exterior!
