Top 5 Mods/Additions On A New 992...
What would your top 5 Mods/upgrades/additions be?
On my Targa 4 GTS I've done:
1. PPF (got front PPF... I was going back and forth on PPF, might not make the list next time)
2. Ceramic coating
3. Nine-Volt MagSafe charger cupholder replacement.
4. Clear side makers
Considering:
Bilstein Coilovers or KW HAS (Bilstein says their coilovers aren't designed for GTS)
LidLiner. How necessary is this really? 🤔

The ones I've done so far:
1. PPF
2. Clear side markers
3. GT3 side skirts
Thinking about:
1. Akra exhaust vs M-engineering tune just to keep the flaps open full time (don't care about tuning it other than that).
PS: don't think the lid liner is necessary lol.

Other stuff... , particularly if you have RAS w/ a LiON battery, radar detector.
Once the basics are done, the sky's the limit.

- wheels
- dash color rings
- ...and now it gets complicated, too many to list

Here's what I did so far on my 2022 GTS:
1. Clear side markers
2. PPF
3. GT3 side skirts
4. Mudflaps from Tommy L Garage
5. PCA car badge
6. Porsche remote key trim and leather key case
7. Porsche/CTEK battery tender
Very happy with all of the above. Purchased the RGS grille protector, but haven't yet installed and not sure I will given the difficulties many expressed on here.

Burning Brakes
I’m probably one of the few owners who installed GT3 skirts and then reverted back to original.
After a couple of months I just didn’t like how the GT3 looked so I put the OEM skirts back on.
I did spec the dash cam prewiring for my 2023 cab and I did use the connector in the overhead console to supply power to a radar detector and dash cam

I will add a few I did not see mentioned:
Porsche OEM frunk tub thing that fits in your frunk (plastic liner thing) - mine is a DD so always putting stuff in the frunk, and if a spill nice to have that tub! I also have the frunk lid protector as well.
I did see Radar detector listed - but a great add, Mirror tap with a Uniden R7 or R8
Set of winter wheels/tires if you are DD'ing and in a cold climate
Set of OEM winter floor mats
I did a PCM clear cover guard/protector (you can get on amazon - like you do for a phone)- the glass is strong and all that, but makes cleaning a breeze with all the finger prints, and I can use anything handy to wipe down, and not worry about scratches
Porsche logo license plate holder (mine came with a dealer frame/holder)
Front Grill protector from Zunsport - radiator protection mesh
