Current Markup...
That which the market will bear. If the spec is good AND due to the fact that it is a Targa AND a GTS that is by all means within the realm of reasonable and could have been slightly higher. So not unusual. That is what you should expect to pay for a 992.1 Targa GTS with zero wait.
However, if they don't get any buyers within 1-2 months, my guess is that markup will come down. Unless there are glaring dealbreakers on it, I expect it to sell sooner than later.

Last month I picked up a GTS Coupe 170K MSRP with a 10K markup. That dealer sold another GTS that week at 30K. They gave me what I thought was a better deal because I traded in a 2022 S Cab on the deal and they know I will buy one car a year from them going forward (assuming the world doesn't end).
The best I was able to do was $9k in Southern California on a base order. I was a repeat customer. Most of the dealerships I talked to had no allocations or wanted $15-20k markups. So yeah, that sounds about right.
I found a 22 GTS selling at MSRP plus timepiece in SoCal which I bought a few months ago in December. Dealer mentioned that they don't do ADM surprisingly. This is after dozens of inquires to dealers from San Diego to San Francisco.
I got a T allocation offered at MSRP....and another dealer wanted 95% of MSRP for a 2020 CPO C2 with 7500 miles and extended CPO warranty.....so I am thinking go for the three years newer T and get the options that I really want....

However, being able to option the car the way you want is different. Really depends on 2 things. The options/color/etc. on the CPO vs. how you would option the T. And more importantly are you getting the T in manual or PDK. If the manual is truly your wish, then the T is the obvious choice. If PDK is the answer, same engine, some other things, but remember the T base price is significantly higher (as is a 2023 C2 base price) than a 2020 C2 was. So I assume the CPO is much cheaper.
Tough call. a 2020 with 7500 miles and a CPO warranty at 95% of MSRP is a good deal. Especially if it includes PPF, Ceramic, Paint Correction. Those things will add $3-5k to your cost if you do them.

Option wise the GTS does have the PDLS plus lights and the Sport Design package (which I don’t really want)…so in my mind the T options are very similar to the GTS except for the engine.
The 2020 C2S will be more expensive than the T..
