Default is the 911 the most boring sports car?

honestly thinking about cancelling my 911 GTS coupe order to buy an R8 Spyder. it'll literally be the same price and I'm pretty sure I'll find more enjoyment out of a convertible V10.

I recommend that you get the R8 and delete the RL account. That way we will both be less bored.

Yes.

I will not be taking any followup questions.

have you driven either? If yes then make up your own mind but sounds like you should cancel as you will always second guess

I considered this before my carrera S purchase. Decided that I didn’t want to be shown off by lower trim Bimmers and Mustangs on the street. The R8 is a looker but slow. The convertible is slower. But you’ll look good.

What is meant by "boring"? Is it because OP doesn't have the GTS to drive while it's on order? I assume if or when OP test drove the GTS or another variant that it wasn't "boring".... BTW, I think Lambo would be more exciting than an R8.

I actually found my R8 V10 Convertible boring years ago.

Heavy and numb.

The 911 is so competent it may feel boring.. until you get into something else. I came back to Porsche even after 458.
And if you pick R8 over 911, I can almost guarantee you'll regret it. It sounds nice and looks pretty but driving dynamics aren't that special.

The R8 is not slow if you get the Plus/Performance Quattro. 602 hp
