Now that I've put close to 3500 km's on my @Soul Performance turbo back exhaust with HFC it's the best mod I've done. I'm not sure if it's in my head or it's real but I feel lately that the sound and noise level has been smoother. Not sure how to describe it. Maybe the exhaust is "broken" in but driving in normal mode with windows down in normal traffic I can barely hear the exhaust. Cold start is still raw and ridiculous and awesome all at the same time. Full throttle over 6000rpm sounds INSANE and exotic. Getting the car detailed and going for a rip tomorrow. It's my daily now. Got rid of my s5 and the car is perfect for daily. I want to add a boxster spyder manual or an older convertible.

Other than seeing the CEL light on your dash and not passing a SMOG inspection, are there any other issues with sport cats triggering a CEL? Specifically, will it causes engine issues by having a CEL triggered and driving with it?

no, it won’t cause other issues. The CEL is simply a functional check of O2 sensor after the cat.

Thanks. That’s what I thought. Just wanted to make sure.

Typically a CEL right on startup is indicative of an O2 sensor fault. We're happy to help if you have any questions or assistance in diagnosis, just email into Chris of customer service at chris@soulpp.com with your name, order information, and codes and we'll hop right on it with you
