I have inquired with JCR.

Definitely recommend the non-silenced products...sounds too damn good to mute and not too much. Turbos already act like mufflers anyways.

Cold start on the other hand bypasses the turbos. I spoke with my neighbors...they didnt seem to mind. Porsche says you can drive away in cold start, which i do if its too early or late.

FYI...Valves work flawlessly and are fully integrated for those who require.

My car came without PSE and I was thinking about adding it. This exhaust looks like a better option and less expensive for a basic C2. Has anybody who ordered this had any issues getting it through US Customs? I ordered a set of wheels from the UK a few years ago and they got caught in customs because there were not USDOT approved (they were stamped TUV but I guess this is not good enough for the USA). I had to fill out paperwork for UPS stating that they were for an off road vehicle only before Customs would release them.

Hard no on updating to the PSE. I wish i didn’t pay for it to begin with. It’s not a great system at all. Get aftermarket and thank your stars you didn’t blow money of the PSE.

Shipping should be fine provided all the paperwork is correct. Millions of racing/off-road parts come into this country per year with no issues.

I proposed the idea to Jonny Cocker at JCR.

Hopefully he comes back with something...in the meantime, the website has all the combos imaginable to wet the appetite.

I'd be interested too but only if I get confirmation that I won't need a tune with the high flow cats which seems unlikely.

How prevalent is the JCR Exhaust / Titanium exhausts prone to cracking under track conditions? I've seen a few accounts of this but not sure if it is a serious worry.

Well damn.. I couldn't wait anymore and just pulled the trigger on the JCR valved exhaust (along with do88 turbo inlets), to go with my existing catless downpipes. Will see how it all turns out and report back.

I guess they weren’t interested in the group buy proposal. O well…

The marketing departments at JCR and Cargraphic are brain dead.

JCR has videos of their exhausts on YouTube in a studio with elevator music.

Cargraphic has no videos of their valve controller in use.
