Default Allocation Time Lines at Present

Hi, what is the latest month people received an allocation (any model) and what is the delivery month for that allocation?

I'm trying to understand where I could land optimistically if I got an allocation and estimate the delivery.
That way I can measure that against my patience on buying something CPO.

Thanks

My experience... put down deposit June 2022 for a GTS coupe or S coupe. 5 in line for GTS... 12 in line for S.... In November T was announced. Day announced I contacted my local dealer who I have dealt with past 8 years. I was #2 on T allocation list. Around Christmas I was given allocation for T with 3/30 freeze date and June 23 delivery. Recently I was moved up to 1/13 freeze date with March Delivery (#1 T allocation holder backed out I guess since no PTS or Carbon buckets).

I am sure if I was still waiting for a GTS or S model my wait would continue well into the future. Dealer just not receiving many 911's to work through the backlog.

Big delineator is ADM, if you are willing to put $20k ADM on the hood you can move to the front of the line for any non-GT 911 variant at many of the less scrupulous dealers. If you're after MSRP, it can vary a lot based on location, high demand areas being longer, but a Base/GTS/S/T allocation could be had in 3-18 months. IMO.

Three months? Less than 5% chance. Six months. Less than 10% chance. From what I'm seeing on here, one year or more is average after getting off the demand list.

i just went to my local dealer this weekend. he said if i paid 10-15K ADM, i can get an allocation within 3 months for a C4. No ADM, probably 12 months.

My buddy called his local NJ dealer for me (he has bought a few porsches there) and they said 15% adm and i can have an allocation next month. Didnt mention how long without ADM.

OK, let me restatement my question, because I think I wasn't clear on what I was getting at.

I did want to start the allocation debate/ADM/trades and all that.

I'd like to hear from folks that got an allocation in November or December or January (whichever the latest period was) and learn how many month after they got their allocation they expect to have the car.
3 months? 6 months? etc.

Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

I got one of the first T allocations back in November, freeze date is next week and estimated dealer arrival is mid march. I saw most of the T allocations went out in December for arrival over the summer. Unsure about other models, the S had a big wait list when I asked about allocations.

Received allocation call late October, 12/13 freeze, 1/20 production, 2/24 delivery. I had been waiting for an allocation for well over a year and had a cherry 991.2 trade in.

I'm interested in the timeline also (time from allocation to car delivery)...
I pre-traded my 991.2 a few months ago and have exactly 1 year to take delivery on a new car to take advantage of the sales tax benefit. At the moment I'm not feeling too optimistic.

based on what everyone is saying they expect to receive their car within 4-6 months of allocation.

I think thats what you are trying to get at?

Exactly! I appreciate the input folks..
When I start this adventure for a 911, it was a year ago, I was targeting this spring. So, unless I get something this month, I will likely need to consider CPO if I want to keep the timeline.

Thanks all!

Per a conversation (checked my email) with my SA in Februray '22 it's typically 4-6 months from allocation to delivery. I received a 911 allocation in August and will recieve my car late January. About 4 weeks behind the original schedule.

For a little bit of additional information... ...I was offered a Macan or Cayanne which would have been available within about 3 months becuase they had unclaimed allocations which hadn't hit their lock dates yet. This was back in October 22.

My story is probably atypical...

I first spoke to the dealer in March '22 about a base Carrara, they offered me an allocation for Aug delivery with a $10k ADM which I turned down primarily because I didn't want to take delivery before Feb of this year at the earliest. Followed up in October to finalize specs and hopefully grab an allocation and haven't been able to get one.... Just got off the phone and while I could get a cabriolet or a T he says there's no movement on base Carrera allocations and thinks that Porsche is prioritizing the top end models over everything else...
