Followed up in October to finalize specs and hopefully grab an allocation and haven't been able to get one.... Just got off the phone and while I could get a cabriolet or a T he says there's no movement on base Carrera allocations and thinks that Porsche is prioritizing the top end models over everything else...
Jump on that T. Thank me later.

For me, it was nearly 9 months.
My allocation (base C2) was near the end of Dec 2021 with a build date the first week of May 2022. I picked it up at dealership the first week of August. That timeline included the 5 weeks it spent crossing the Atlantic, Panama Canal, and stops in other ports before arriving in Benecia. And nearly 2 weeks port processing/dealer prep. (It also sat at the port for nearly 4 weeks since it wasn't loaded on the next available ship to the West Coast.)

3 months? 6 months? etc.
T allocation given 12/20 expected delivery 4/7. Where you live pays a big part in that equation: East Coasters get their cars quicker than West Coast people due to time to ship via freighter from Emden. I'm East Coast (Buffalo)

Unfortunately it would mean going without food 9 months out of the year...

But then you can market it as the new "Porsche Diet"

Here is a "current" timeline reference for my for a base C2 order. Southern California resident, order demand accepted Sept 10, 2022 (3 year prior relationship with dealer and SA). Allocation received Dec 20, 2022. Freeze date will be Feb 2, 2023. Skip to ETA at Dealer is April 14, 2023. On a side note, seems a base C2 allocation is harder to get then a GT or Turbo these days in So Cal, so I feel lucky.

Created a Order Demand on Dec 8 2022 and was told number 3 on the list for allocation in the PA area. As of today still number 3 and hoping for allocation before end of may for a Base C2.

Created a demand order in December 2021 for a C2S at MSRP. Still waiting for an allocation 13 months later. Beyond ridiculous at this point. According to my SA, they only received one C2S allocation all last year.

Demand order for the 911 T placed the day the car was announced (October I guess it was)... Allocation received on Christmas Eve... Scheduled build date 3/17 and Euro Delivery this summer. So demand order --> Allocation --> build date in about 5 months. Delivery would be sooner if I wasnt doing Euro.

GTS - will be delivered within the next week or so. I originally put my deposit down 5/21. I was about 7th in line. No ADM.

GT3 - deposit down 3/21. I’m about 4th in line. No ADM. I feel I should get my allocation in the next 12 months, delivered within 2 years.

No purchase history or ADM.

Looking for Carrera S allocation, several dealers (So. Cal.) had a few cars coming in Q3-Q4 that were changeable. Most were asking for 15-20K ADM in order to secure the allocation. Makes no sense, to me anyway. What to do?

honestly, i'd go back every couple weeks. people aren't gonna spend that ADM with interest rates skyrocketing. well is about to dry up and you'll be able to get an S with no markup soon. i believe even porsche said the same for 2023 allocations.

also, cast a wider net. call every dealer around you if you need to. if u put in the work, the deal will be there.

did you get euro delivery setup already? I was reading that all euro deliveries are done for 2023. Just curious I have a T allocation as of Dec 22, build date April 3 and waiting to hear back on possible euro delivery.

thanks
