Yes, you should always do a proper alignment after lowering. The 992 allows for camber adjustment just enough to bring it back to the edge of spec for me.

I'm simply not spending the $$ on a suspension overhaul of any kind, though I respect it as long as you like it, etc.

However, the red and the classics look so amazing. gorgeous.

Gentleman, this thread would be far more useful if everyone posted the following (in order of importance):

1. what OE suspension - non-PASM, PASM, or SPASM
2. how many mm or inches they lowered their car by
3. wheel offsets
4. size of wheels and tires
5. brand of lowering kit

Are there spacers installed in this pic?

Here's my lowering journey...

Aug 15, 2021 - Stock 992S w/ stock SPASM and stock 20/21" Carrera Classics, NO spacers measured from floor to edge of fender w/ full tank of extended tank of gas:
Front: 27 5/8"
Rear: 29 1/4"

January 9, 2022 - 3 days after lowering w/ Bilstein EVO coilovers, stock Carrera Classic rims and tires w/ 15mm F and 12mm R spacers, measurements from floor to edge of fender with 3/4 tank of gas:
Front: 26 3/4"
Rear: 28 5/8"
1. what OE suspension - non-PASM, PASM, or SPASM: SPASM
2. how many mm or inches they lowered their car by: F -7/8" (-22 mm), R -5/8" (-16mm)
3. wheel offsets: Stock Carrera Classic rims w/ 15mm FRONT spacers and *12mm REAR spacers so effective offsets: F +35, R +55 (*I eventually switched to 15mm spacers all around which is best IMO)
4. size of wheels and tires: Stock Carrera Classic rims F 20x8.5" w/ 245/35/20 and R 21x11.5" w/ 305-3021 Pirelli PZ4
5. brand of lowering kit: Bilstein EVO coilovers

July 20, 2023 - 1 1/2 years after lowering and 8,600 miles on Bilstein EVO colivers + new BBS FI-Rs and slightly wider/taller tires measured from floor to edge of fender w/ 3/4 tank of gas:
Front: 26 7/8"
Rear: 28 3/8"
1. what OE suspension - non-PASM, PASM, or SPASM: SPASM
2. how many mm or inches they lowered their car by: F -3/4" (-22 mm), R -7/8" (-19 mm) *note: sometime between first measurement and this 2nd measurement 1.5 yrs later, I raised front spring perches by 1/4".
3. wheel offsets: BBS FI-Rs w/ 7mm spacers F and R so effective offsets: F +41, R +53
4. size of wheels and tires: BBS FI-Rs F 20x9" w/ 255/35/20 and R 21x11.5" w/ 315-30-21 Michelin PS4S (note: tires are slightly wider and taller than stock: F stock 26.8" tall vs. 27" tall (.2" or 5mm taller) for 255-35-20 tires, R stock 28.2" tall vs. 28.5" tall (.3" or 7.5mm taller) for 315-30-21 tires)
5. brand of lowering kit: Bilstein EVO coilovers (settled after 1.5 years and 8,600 miles)

How much did the suspension settle over 1.5 yrs and 8,600 miles on Bilstein EVO coilovers?
Front suspension settled .3" (8mm) - Calculations: 26 7/8" initial lowering + 1/4" raising + .2" taller 255/35/20 tire = 27.2" vs. actual height of 26 7/8"
Rear suspension settled .5" (13mm) - Calculations: 28 5/8 initial lowering + .3" taller 315/30/21 tire = 28.9" vs. actual height of 28 3/8"

I apologize if this is a dumb question, and I'm guessing the answer is no... but does adjusting suspension void the manufacturer warranty on the car?

Generally, they don't care. They haven't said a word about my coilover suspension and have dutifully left my 15mm spacers on the car when I've taken it in for servicing. But, if your strut fails when you have a HAS kit or lowering springs, don't expect them to cover the failed strut. Also, if there are issues w/ tie rods or sway bar end links and stuff that get messed up, they may push back on warranting that damage if your car is lowered too as you are pushing the suspension components beyond the intended design limits.

On the otherhand, if your engine blows up or your PCM dies, they're not going to void that warranty simply b/c your car is lowered.
