Anyone purchase the 992 gear shifter off Ebay and install?

I think OP is referencing the retrofit selector for the PDK that is a whopping $800 piece of plastic.

The description is idiotic - “real carbon fiber” - but the materials detail and pix show no carbon fiber. Zinc alloy is fine / better than plastic.
Looks worlds better than the shaver, though. I’d prob buy one if I had PDK.

They now offer it in Carbon fiber too. Look at last 2 pics, instead of red/black Alcantara the **** can now be had in CF. I also was puzzled initially until I looked at the drop down options.

Ahh - that makes more sense. I thought the chinese seller was just trying to add cool automotive buzzwords.

I send them an offer what I am willing to pay but they rejected. So, now I watch. I doubt they sell many at $799 and will have to lower eventually to get rid of whatever inventory they have.

I am waiting...it was $999 just 4 weeks ago and now is $799. The description of materials used sounds like its a solid piece but still too much. I send them an offer what I am willing to pay but they rejected. So, now I watch. I doubt they sell many at $799 and will have to lower eventually to get rid of whatever inventory they have.
