Default Last Analog Tach

So… if the 992.1 is the last 911 with an analog tach will they be more desirable in the future?

any opinions

Nobody is going to want a 992.1 just because of that. It’s nice, but not make or break. Like last NA engine or last air cooled are.

I think the digital dash board with the analog rev counter is a sweet spot. I like the usability of the displays but love to have a analog meter in front of me. That might change over time, however, I think Mercedes has full digital das boards for 2 or 3 years now and I'm still not used to it.

Does the full digital have superior gauge visibility? Analog looks much better, but functionality is the most important thing. All things being equal, the analog definitely looks nicer.

One thing that excites me about going back to 991.2 is the gauge cluster.

It will become a non-issue almost immediately as long as it isn't harder to read.
What would be more desirable would be if they put music favorites back in the steering wheel controls like the 991.1s. THAT I miss. I would gladly trade the analog tach for that feature.

Probably on a scale of 1 to 100 it moves the desirability needle to 5, unlike if 992.1 was the last manual the desirability needle would probably hit 95.
