Can anyone confirm whether Manual Adjust Steering Wheel Column is lighter than the electric one? My friend told me the manual steering column is actually heavier.
im asking because my dealer told me all 911 (except for turbo+) in MY23 is going to be manual adjustment column, and it kinda annoys me a little.

I honestly do not mind the manual one at all, takes 1 second to adjust, and I do not know if I have ever moved it, once I set it where I wanted it. The range of motion is not huge on the 911 anyway - I would not worry about it to much, as it is not a necessary luxury. (my Mac and GT3 are also manual - I really never even think about it.)

Manual steering adjustment is lighter then electric, further evidence of this is that the electric steering adjust is replaced with manual adjustment when ordering the light weight package.

Do not know if it is lighter (I would guess it would be as no motor, switches, etc.). I have the manual one on my 2022 992 targa (auto was not available for it) - but on my 2020 992 C4S I had automatic.

interesting!
is the lightweight package offered on the regular Carrera 4s? Or is it exclusively offered on GTS and Turbo S? I’m in China and the configurator doesn’t show that. I can’t access the US version configurator.
