My 2 cents on the wear: yes, there is some abrasion going on from belt, or jeans, or knife clipped onto jeans pocket (I carry one) and that is definitely an issue, but it is also a problem with the finish on the leather. If leather is properly made, the finish coat shouldn't rub off like that, even when subject to this kind of abrasion. Think of motorbike jackets that are worn hard for years, rubbed on everything including the pavement, and they (the better made ones at least) don't have the finish coming off like that. My guess is that perhaps there are different leather suppliers, and maybe this was from a new one or an existing one that had a finishing problem. It is worth going back to Porsche and see if they have had that problem before, either with that color of leather, or from the same supplier or batch that yours came from. And if they can trace it, perhaps you may get some satisfaction, and you would think that they would want to know about it too. Otherwise, for sure you can apply some finish to match but that is best done by someone who knows leather. Finally, you may want to adjust your getting in and out too...

Should we talk PPF and Ceramic? Or Manual vs. Auto....

Oh, and your post was #48, so your count was wrong.

You were 48, otherwise I would not have made the post. Possibly a post was deleted.
