I'm looking at a used 2022 C4 that is about $20,000CAD over its sticker, with 1,500 miles on it. It's not the colour I would choose (Aventurine Green) but otherwise has most of the options I'd choose (I wouldn't order PSE). I'm waiting for an allocation for a 2023 C4 - and who knows when one will become available. But, if it does, even with the new Canadian "Luxury Tax" and spec'ing leather, I'd save $10,000CAD. So, for now I'm waiting for an allocation. Difference in my case is the driving season is over in 6 weeks. Good luck.

Thanks for all of the helpful comments. I bought the car! I could not get them down any further, but is was 11K lower than the original asking price. I will send some photos when it arrives at my home in Phoenix. I am incredibly excited. I will just be a little sad that I had to unload my 2006 Carrera cabriolet but the 2020 is special.

Good job. Sounded like a great opportunity and it fits what you wanted. I think you made the right decision and big congrats.

I was in a similar place and traded my 2006 for a used 2021, which was above MSRP. I am on a 2+ year waiting list for new and I am really pleased with the decision as I get to enjoy this car for those 2+ years. There is no comparison to my 2006 and I think you will love it. When my allocation comes in I can decide to pass or trade this one and get the exact spec I want.

It took awhile, but she arrived from Illinois this morning. I took some quick photos, put her in the garage and will get her all cleaned up and take her for a ride when I get home from the work this afternoon. I definitely made the right decision. Thanks for everyones help.
