6-month mark i'm at 14.3 MPG. This baby eats gas, wow ! It's like a mini Suburban...
What are you all averaging on the total trip read on the right side ?
It does suck up gas if you drive it hard. When I take my 992S out for a drive in the country, I’m only briefly pushing it hard for short periods. If I run in the “Normal” mode, and stay around the speed limit, I can easily get > 22mpg…bit higher if on the highway and no stop and go.
The other hit on the wallet is having to fill up with premium, wich is usually $0.60 more a gallon than regular. Even worse for me is having to fill up my boat, twin-engines, with diesel fuel…sometimes more than $1.00 per gallon (at the dock) than regular gas. It’s common to see prices on dock pumps registering more that $1,000 after a fill up.

These cars have the "potential" for decent mpg if you hypermile - get on the boost frequently and mpg plummets, wide open you can empty the tank in less than an hour!
Direct injection engines are extremely sensitive to how they're driven WRT to gas mileage. Lots of short urban trips will bump it way up, long freeway or easy country miles will see it shoot the other way. Just how they are.
MPG's are lower across the board since they are now putting higher ethanol content in our gasoline. My daily driver is down like 5mpg overall as of recent.

Wait, so government mandates more ethanol in our gas, requires higher average MPG among new cars, but because of corn, we are getting worse MPG.
before you judge I was on a work call and had to keep the noise down so they thought I was at my desk.
787 miles to a tank (extended tank)
No judgment here. There’s nothing wrong with achieving great gas mileage when the car isn’t being driven hard. That’s the beautiful duality of the 992.
